John Starr
John Starr is the President of Our Man Starr productions and the creator of Rokkus Radio, the web's first alternate reality radio station. Prior to working in media production, John was Operations Manager at NextPlanetOver.com, a VC funded online retailer in San Francisco, acquired by eHobbies and at Calimetrics, an optical drive startup that raised $50M from government, venture, angel, and corporate sources and was acquired by LSI Logic. John has more than 20 years experience in technology, media and business operations. At San Francisco State University, John studied screenwriting, broadcasting, theater arts, and acting. He lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with his wife and son and enjoys disc golf, hiking, baseball and Rock and Roll.
